First off I must welcome you to my profile.

Let me see... I guess I should explain about me huh? I shouldn't have to explain anything but I think I will. My nickname's Shadow for those who don't know that. Not many do these days. I have about 3.5 feet of long blonde hair (Yes it's that long! You try standing there with someone holding a meter stick to your head trying to measure it.. x.x;) My eyes tend to change colour sometimes, strange yes. I'm not all that tall either compaired to other people, I'm only 5'4".

I don't tend to be open to too many people really. It's just how I've grown up. I'll probably seem pretty defensive in fact for reasons I don't wish to explain to people that don't already know... so unless I start talkin like a bad soap opera on your tv screen... forget it.

I'm canadian by birth and darn proud of it! Not that I'm going to go running around all patriotic or anything, that's kinda dumb and puts you out there like a sore thumb. I just like the fact I'm canadian. If you have a problem with that, draw a face on an apple with a sharpie and talk to it. It'll probably care as much as I do :)

I can be quite talkative, or very withdrawn. Like a double sided card. But isn't everyone that way? My depressed self usually scares people away or they think it can be cured by watching endless reruns of annoying Carebears or something. It's just what's normal to me... I've been this way ever since I can remember. Why I don't know... so if I randomly just go all quiet when talking to you, just go with it. It'll go away in it's own time. As for my nicer half and talkative side... I'm crazy random!

I could honestly care less what most people think of me. I try to ignore hurtful things and if they say something that shouldn't be said sure it irritates me but words are just that. Words. I tend to sit in a dark room quite often, aka my computer corner. I don't get out much (OBVIOUSLY!) so my social life is online. People tend to make fun of me since I don't like sunlight much. What do you expect if it burns your eyes out? Or, like me, you've gotten a bad sunburn from it from sitting out in it without sunblock for 7 hours solid :P Normally I don't burn or tan but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaang did I ever that day!

I like the nighttime... it's when the world comes alive in my opinion. There are stars in abundance to look at... the moon's so pretty too. Also... you see things more clearly then you would in the day when everything's so busy and crowded. At night... everything's quiet and still, you notice more. And the temprerature's lower. Natural AC if you want a late night stroll!

Ok... here's a funny one. Most of you who know me know (confusing I know...doh!) that I tend to wear black... a lot. More often then other people. I tend to get called emo or goth often enough. I find it facinating when people tend to stare. It's amusing. I get comments by older/elderly people saying they "like" the pants I'm wearing... or from parents who "hate" my pants. Or people who just plain love em like a few good friends :) It doesn't bother me what you say either way... I LOVE my black pants with the shoelaces and straps. That's how I met my boyfriend <3

And for those who ask me, yes, I do have MSN and YIM but more often then naught won't give it to you unless I find that I'd like to talk to you more or get to know you better. There are a few random exceptions. If I do add you, that means I find you amusing (in a good way mind) and would like to be friends. No... I won't be flattered by the use of "Wow you're hot! Wanna cyber?" and so for that you'll more than likely be deleted. :)

I enjoy learning new things about everything and try to understand why people are the way they are and why others don't act the same way as some others. People are who they are. I like learning about other people and them telling me their stories. It lets you get to really know a person that way. I tend to question things as well just to let you know.

I'm a lover of animals, not to the extremes of my old english teacher thank goodness, but to a saneishness that is my own. That's why I joined with the CCC at my school til I graduated. I'm still there for the (small) group when not working too. YAY CCC! We worked hard to keep our team alive and running didn't we?

I tend to be a writer as well. Poetry is my thing and I've written a fair bit in the last few years. Writing gets emotions out and lets you read how you're feeling if you can't quite put your finger on it. So I say... WRITE! But yeeeah... they're long so I won't post anything unless I have the time :P. Photography is another thing I like doing... let's say I'm a cameraholic lol! I've done developping in school for black and whites that turned out pretty good. I've also taken a liking to photopainting. You know... where you rub some special paint into a black/white photo to give certain areas colour? I draw anime often too... well... a lot of different styles!

Everyone's entitled to my opinion! Haha just kidding. You're entitled to your own at all times and if it's by chance insulting towards me I'll tell you just that. That it's your own.

I guess that's about it for now... wow this got long. Oh yeah one last thing. Rex is the greatest friend I could ever have, He deserves a place in my profile, as he is really sweet, and gave me the best present I could have ever gotten. A good friend I havent a way to ever thank him, or repay him enough for this. Thanks for being around when I was a complete mess :P I'm still laughing that I showed up all cryingness on your doorstep.
